Attack of the itch!

It had started as one simple itch on her shoulder.  She had scratched it and went on her way.  Then it had exploded.

She liked staying with the human named Shinju very much.  She could tell that he was sad and troubled and made it her job to cheer him.  But she couldn't do when she was itching every 5 minutes.  She had tried to keep it down the low from her charge, knowing that humans often gave 'baths' to itchy pets and she did NOT want that.  But now she just couldn't help herself.


Closing her eyes as she scratched an itchy, Amaterasu let out a grunt and shook herself, before laying back down to try and take a nap.

It wasn't like he hadn't noticed, but like Ammy, he was hoping it would go away after a short time.

But it hadn't, so when he heard the white wolf scratch herself, he put down the book he was reading with a light sigh and knelt down next to her.

"Alright, Amaterasu. I guess it's time I washed you."

Ammy started at Shinju for a minute. No..Not the bath! Quickly, she scrambled up and ran into his room, wedging herself under his bed. Of course, she couldn't actually fit so her bottom half was sticking out. But he couldn't see, right?

Was she really that against a little bit of water and soap? With an amused shrug, he stood to follow her into the bedroom.

"Come on, it won't be that bad. I promise."

*Keeps as still as she possibly can, hoping Shinju would think she'd left and give up.*

*Walks into the bedroom and tries to find her.*

*Holding verrrrry still.. Until she starts to itch and lets out a grunt, as her foot moves on its own, scratching it.*

There you are. [Reaches for her.] Let's go ahead and get this over with, okay? I'll make it quick, and when I'm done you won't itch anymore.

*It doesn't matter how long it will be! Water is still water! Ammy wiggles her way out, bumping into Shinju, not realizing how close he was.*

*Grabs her.* Oh no you don't.

*Yelps and tries to wiggle out of his hold.*

[Keeps his hold, using his weight to try to keep her from moving.] Come on, Amaterasu! You'll feel better afterwards. Please?

*..Well he did say please.. And he was telling the truth.*

*Letting out whine, she stopped struggling, resigning herself to her fate.*

[Sighs out of relief and starts to guide her into the bathroom.] Alright. Let's get this over with.

*Hangs her head and follows Shinju slowly, pausing to scratch herself.*

*Leads her into the bathtub and takes the shower head off it's hook, setting it beside him. He plugs the tub and turns on the water, getting his brush. Eh, he'll just clean it out later, he guesses. And some wash should be... in the cupboard.*

*Lets sad woof when she's lead into the tub. Seeing Shinju's back turned towards her, she slowly, lifts a paw out stepping onto the floor, her eyes never leaving her human's back.*

Don't think I can't hear you moving. Stay in the tub.

*Grabs the wash out of the cabinet and moves to sit beside the bathtub again.*

*Sits right back down when Shinju opened his mouth, looking innocent.*

*Sits down and puts some of the wash in his hand, then lathers it up a bit and starts rubbing it into Ammy's fur.*

*Fidgets for a minute as she watches Shinju, letting out a whimper when he starts scrubbing, ears folded back.*

*Scrubs, using the shower head to wash off the soap*

*Stands still in the water for a minute before shaking herself, flinging soap and water everywhere.*

*Laughs quietly and blocks his eyes from the incoming water.* Silly thing. *Ruffles her fur for a moment before washing the rest of the soap off.*

*Barks happily and lets Shinju finish rinsing the soap off.*

*Drains the water in the tub and turns it off, grabbing a towel.*
